Item Description

Hey! Tvickiesims here.

This is a conversion of a huge amount of objects from Sims 4 Cottage Living EP, including debug section and add-ons.

This set could not be possible without my dear friends @platinumaspiration and @LordCrumps who created the base of this set like windows, doors, fridges, kitchen counters, walls, floors, bed and bedding, hood deco, and many others.

Some items from this set were previously included in bundles (like walls/floors, windows/doors, fridges, hood deco etc). Because some files were edited and names were changed, I recommend running HCDU Plus for GUID conflicts, then delete older verions and keep the new ones from this set.

Key features and info:

  • 137 buy mode objects;

  • 119 build mode objects, including windows, doors, arches, fences, gates and fireplaces (for the fireplaces to work correctly you’ll need Scriptorium installed. Once it’s done, put the txt files in the fireplace folder of Scriptorium);

  • 15 floors, 81 walls (some cut in half), 6 terrain paints. All walls and floors will appear sorted next to each other in build mode;

  • 7 hood objects;

  • Smoothed out meshes, no shine (except when necessary), quarter tile placeable, slots where it makes sense;

  • 2 separate collection files for build and buy mode;

  • All shadows are repositoried to Lord Crumps’ shadow file (it’s included but as always, you don’t need multiple copies of it in your downloads folder, so delete if you have it already);

  • Some objects have useful info inside catalog descriptions so check that out;

  • "Old New Henford's FinestChimney" and "Turn Of The Century Brick Chimney" were cloned from an object by @lordcrumps, it must be placed on roof floor tiles and NOT on the roof itself (otherwise the pie menu disappears and you won’t be able to turn smoke on and off);

  • "Garden's End Gate" comes with posts that will clip into fences unless you use this building trick;

  • "Village Pub Table" was cloned from a bar table by @morepopcorn, to function properly it requires her matching mod (included in the "REQUIRED" folder);

  • "Garden Party (no wainscoting)" walls were originally created by Rosana and shared on Simsnetwork here;

  • "Chicken Coop" functions as a compost bin (meant to work with Planting Overhaul mod);

  • LC_BG_TheHarbingerCounter is required for inner kitchen counters' clutter to show up correctly (included in the "REQUIRED' folder);

  • "Animal Shed" is a functional dog house, it was created with DeeDee's and mine farm animals set of mods in mind;

  • Picnic baskets are functional (based on an object by @zena-dew-drop), heavily edited from my last version included in Golden Garden set. The package is now cleaned of redundant files and translated into RU. It now serves only the following food: hot dog, hamburger, grilled cheese, sandwich, salad and pie. It still makes a mess of plates, so be prepared to clean up on community lots;

  • "Who Knew? Phone Booth" community phone was cloned from an object by nicvncnt. It's only available for purchase on community lots (appears greyed out in collection file on residential lots);

  • "Who Knew? Phone Booth" is also available as community phone default replacement (can be found in "DR" folder, delete if you don't want it). If you keep it, the phone needs to be rebought on all community lots to update slots. CEP extra is not required as it's already incorporated;

  • Seasonal plants' angle pieces have correct lighting thanks to @simnopke's insight;

  • "EXTRAS" folder includes a cash register that I pieced together from various Sims 4 meshes. It was meant to accompany the 2 market stands from this set. There are 2 versions - standard one and automatic (cloned from an object by IngeJones). You can have both versions in your game;

  • Also in the "EXTRAS" folder you will find an optional tile blocker object (it's used to prevent sims from going through objects that expand beyond their tiles footprint). It was cloned from an object by @cityof2morrow and has all the original properties plus I edited it to have no texture, use simpler mesh, automatically become invisible in live mode and appear under general-misc. I recommend using this object to block tiles for "Animal Shed" and "The Reclaimed Bar of the Fox Hole" in particular but also on any other object that you feel like needs it;
